Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite has just shared her biggest testimony of 2018 and how God gave her a massive army to fight her battle. According to her, 'I was fighting a serious battle for over a year. A battle I knew I could never ever have won by power nor by might. So instead, I decided to pray HARD about it. Oh dear, I disturbed God on this matter. I would sing, dance, cry, praise,worship; day and night'. A whole year passed and nothing happened. But I refused to give up. On the 17th of May (a day before my birthday), I went to a mid week service. I dragged myself to church that day. I was overwhelmed. I had no strength left in me. My head kept telling me to give up, but my heart and spirit said NO.There was an altar call in church that day for people who desperately needed God to show up for them. I joined about a hundred other people. I tried to control my emotions. A few tears escaped and I would quickly wipe them away but at some point, I let go. I showed my father, how much pain I was in. For those few minutes, I couldn’t care less which blogger, friend or foe was watching. Damilola Adegbite?! Crying like a baby in church? Me I was ready for the jist to be everywhere by the next day, but I was even more ready to risk it all for a breakthrough. Little did I know, that my day had come.After the prayers, we got up. My face was a mess so I bent my head and was walking back to my seat. I had taken a few steps when someone touched my shoulder so gently. I turned around and it was my pastor’s wife. Prior to this, I had NEVER met her. She looked at me so kindly and pulled me into her arms, right there in front of the whole church. That was it, I burst into tears like a baby. Before I could even figure out what was happening, I was taken into the pastor’s office and asked to wait to see my pastor and his wife after service. Small me!! To cut the long story short, hmmm, words can never explain. God gave me a MASSIVE ARMY. Spiritual, financial, emotional, every arsenal that I could ever need to fight and win this battle.Here’s to you my friend. Keep pushing! Don’t loose hope! Refuse to be intimidated! A lion has killed a worker at a North Carolina zoological park after it escaped a locked enclosure during a routine cleaning. Alexandra Black, a 22-year-old recent graduate of Indiana State University, had been an intern at the Conservators Center in Burlington, west of Durham, for about two weeks when she was attacked and killed, the Caswell County Sheriff's Office said. A statement by the Black's family said she had died "following her passion." "Alex loved animals. Our beautiful, intelligent, passionate Alex had worked, unpaid, at several animal-related ventures, most recently at Wolf Park in Battleground, Indiana. This was her fourth internship, because she really wanted to make a career of working with animals," they said. Black was a native of New Palestine, Indiana, according to the sheriff's office. She had started working at the Conservators Center her first out-of-state internship 10 days ago, her family said. Friends and family members are mourning the untimely death of 37-year-old councilor representing Ado Ward 9 at Ado Local Government Council, Deji Akeredolu. Late Hon. Akeredolu was killed by unknown gunmen on Friday December 28th. According to reports, Akeredolu and his wife were said to have alighted from a motorbike at the junction to their house at about 10pm when the gunmen struck and fired shots at him from the back. "So sad you gone so soon my padi of life Deji Akeredolu...I can't just stop shedding the tears... May allah grant you access to the shades of his throne on the day of judgement...RIP my personal person" one of his friends wrote on Facebook. 
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Hon Deji Ogunsakin has described the death of Hon Adedeji Akeredolu and other staunch PDP supporters who lost his lives in the fatal gunshot incident on Friday, by unknown gunmen at Ado Ekiti, as a sad and irreparable loss."I was shocked and greatly saddened by the news of the death of my own ward councilor in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. This is unfortunate and an irreparable loss. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Family of the dead, may God almighty grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. "I commiserate with His Excellency the immediate Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and PDP Governorship candidate of Ekiti State in the July 14 2018,Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka, the People's Democratic Party PDP Ekiti State Chapter and the people of the state particularly Ado-Ekiti in Ward 9, our leader in the zone, Hon Azeez AMojeed, H.E Dr Sikiru Tai Lawal, Hon Marchester and others, the state PDP chairman Barr Gboyega Oguntuase.
