It’s not too late for Maje to file a suit, it’s actually the appropriate time (sigh…it’s so sad when people who once truly loved each other get to this sort of low point).
Okay back to the point of whether or not it’s “too late”, let me wear my lawyer hat.
It is in fact because copies are everywhere that a defamation suit may become necessary. There are slight variances from one jurisdiction to another but generally speaking, for a defamation claim to be valid, the complainant must prove:
1. That what is written is false
2. That the falsehood has been viewed by a third party or third parties
3. That the falsehood has caused quantifiable harm in some way i.e. his reputation, his business, his relationships etc.
I wonder how this will play out, but for Maje to hire these sorts of serious lawyers…he’s not here to joke around…sigh…
