A student of Niger Delta University, Amassoma, has been killed by gunmen who then made away with her phone.Seiyefa Fred, a 100 level student of the institution, was shot dead on Thursday evening, November 8, 2018, at Amarata in Yenegoa, Bayelsa state. Seiyefaa, who just bought a new iPhone, was accosted by the gunmen alleged to be cultists. According to online reports, they asked her to hand over the new iPhone but she hesitated so she was shot and they left with the phone. 
Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn her. Some blame the ASUU strike for her death, saying that if there were no strike, she would have been in school.See graphic photos below.
