A couple of male Twitter users have come out to question why mothers subject their future daughters-in-law to domestic chores and tests but worship their future sons-in-law and treat them to sumptuous meals.Peter Rock pointed out that when a man brings his girlfriend home, his mother will expect her to prove she's a wife material by doing chores but such isn't expected of the man. @mangemmann22 opined that this happens because marriage has been seen as a favour done to women.But some other Twitter users also pointed out that intending sons-in-law are also subjected to a test of their own by future mothers-in-law who subtly observe them to see if they can provide for their daughters.See tweets below.
