The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack on the convoy of Borno State Governor Kassim Shettima’s yesterday February 13th. Governor Shettima was on his way to a rally in Yobe state when the sect members openned fire on his convoy, killing three persons. The sect in a statement released on its Amaq news agency, claimed 42 people were killed in Tuesday’s attack on Borno state’s governor.
