Those indicted in the collapsed 7-storey building to be prosecuted for murder - Gov Wike declares

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has declared that any government official indicted over the collapsed 7-storey building at Woji road in New GRA, Port Harcourt will be duly prosecuted. Over 10 persons reportedly lost their lives after the building which was under construction, collapsed on Friday, November 23rd.Speaking during the presentation of reports by the Judicial Commission of Inquiry to investigate the 7-storey building collapse at Woji road in New GRA, Port Harcourt on Friday February 8th, Governor Wike stated that his administration will implement the reports of the commission.He announced the setting up of a seven man White Paper committee to take immediate steps for the implementation of the recommendations of the two commissions of Inquiry ."Let me assure you that we wouldn't have wasted our time and resources setting up the commissions of inquiry . The report will be duly implemented. Anybody indicted for the collapsed building will face the law.
