Dramatic new footage has emerged showing the moment a small plane plummeted nose-first onto a busy motorway, but missed all cars.
The video shows the aircraft bursting into a huge fireball moments after impact and missing motorists in California, US, by inches.
It then skids along the road before coming to a halt – sending smoke billowing into the air.
Incredibly, both of the Cessna’s two passengers, a man and a woman, survived the crash after being dragged from the burning fuselage by motorists.
The video was captured by a security camera at Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, where the couple had just left.
Two people, a man and a woman, in their early sixties were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being pulled from the wreckage.
