Maje Ayida's defamation lawsuit againt Toke Makinwa went before a judge in Lagos today and it is super explosive and messey. Ayida is suing Toke Makinwa over claims made in her book 'On Becoming', that he infected her with Sexually Transmitted Infections while they were married. In today's court session, Toke's lawyer, an unidentified Senior Advocate of Nigeria was able to get Maje to admit to having unprotected sex with other women while still married to his client. Maje however stated that all this happened when he and Toke were having fallouts during different stages of their relationships. See more tweets from an eyewitness present in court below.
