At least 2 people have died and 11 people are critically injured after shots were fired close to a Christmas market in Strasbourg, France. The shooting incident happened close to a Christmas market in the central square of Strasbourg, Place Kleber. It is not yet clear if there was any link to a terrorist group.
Police report that they know the identity of the gunman and are desperately trying to track him down.Meanwhile, The French Interior Ministry has called on the public to remain indoors following the shooting.
