I went home as a king, thanks to Hero lager

This is a sponsored post...As I walked by my regular barber’s shop, I could feel the stares. They didn’t know I could hear them, but I did. Emeka was talking in hushed tones about me. He wondered aloud at how I was able to afford some of the new gadgets and food stuff I had recently purchased. You see, I had been complaining to a few friends about how tough the economy is - especially during the yuletide season. I didn’t think I would be able to travel home for Christmas. How could I? What was I to tell Mama when she rushed out with a group of her friends to hail her son from Lagos only to discover I had come empty handed?I didn’t think things could change so suddenly. In fact, I didn’t even believe all the ads I had seen but you know if you never buy the ticket you would not win the lottery. So, I did. With little hope, I did it and my visit to Mama was a very happy one. She has called her friends. She cooked a sumptuous meal and I went like a king.To think all I had to do was text HERO and the unique code I had found under the crown cork of the beer I bought at Sunshine bar to 3810. Too easy right? I thought so too. I didn’t even pay it any mind. Not until I received a call that I had qualified for a raffle draw. The best part was, the more beer I consumed and sent in the unique codes, the more likely I was to qualify for the weekly cash prize of up to N1 million. Poor Emeka, I can still feel his gaze as he watched me when I began to load two heavy bags of rice in the car I had hired to take me home to Mama.*Hero Lager recently awarded 500 consumers with cash prizes and gifts in its just concluded national consumer promo, tagged, HEROnaires Mega Promo.
