ACP Frank Mba, the Nigerian Police Force PRO was a guest on Channels TV this morning where he spoke on the reforms regarding SARS. According to him, 'reforms on SARS is not going to be cosmetic, what we are doing now is to correct the abnormality, restore order and bring the Police closer to the people'. Mba also said, 'decentralisation of SARS is to ensure unity of command and control and in line with democratic and community policing. It will correct every anomaly, bureaucratic bottleneck &bring the Police close to the people.
