Some suspected female students of the University of Abuja have been nabbed by the police at a brothel
A group of policemen in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja numbering 7 reportedly stormed a brothel at the Gwagwalada area during which they raided 10 female prostitutes suspected to be students of the University of Abuja.
The arrest took place at 9pm on Thursday, the 22nd of September, 2016 as part of concerted efforts by security operatives to sanitize the area of acts of indecency and illegalities.
Reports have it that the suspected students who have taken to the illicit act to make money are currently being detained and prepared for subsequent investigations. Further reports revealed
Speaking with the D.P.O last night, around 10:00pm, the police boss made it clear that the police force is also trying to promote decency among the youths, and eliminate any form of nuisance, exercised by prostitutes in Gwagwalda.
He also made it known to a correspondent, that, the parents of the arrested prostitutes will be invited to witness the trial of their daughters who may be charged to court to serve as a deterrent to others indulging in such ungodly acts.
