
Marquis Brown, a college football player died after jumping from a 16th-story window on Thursday night. Brown, a running back at Football Championship Subdivision school Duquesne, died at a Pittsburgh hospital after plunging from the window at an on-campus building around 10:30 p.m., according to a letter to the campus community from university president Ken Gormley. The Pittsburgh Police Department, which confirmed the details of Brown's death but did not identify him by name, is investigating the incident, according to a news release. Brown jumped from a window at Brottier Hall after campus police arrived on the floor to respond to a reported disturbance, according to Gormley's letter.
