The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who encountered a slight fright when their plane had to abort landing on approaching Sydney (read here), have moved past the initial scare and have changed into new outfits to attend a formal event.Their Royal Highnesses stepped out for the Australian Geographic Society Awards, an annual gathering of Australia's brightest and best in exploration, science and conservation. 
Meghan looked resplendent in a £10,000 Oscar de la Renta gown that's been referred to by social media users as her "best dress so far". Harry looked dapper in a navy blue suit.Their Royal Highnesses presented youth awards to honour the highest achievements in conservation and adventure, and The Duke gave an address.More photos below.
