A corps member has reportedly been made to spend no less than 2 nights in jail after he and others in his neighbourhood were picked up at random and allegedly thrown in Ikoyi Prison. According to Twitter user @umelojoe, Eze James was arrested in front of his house at Bariga. He and others were arrested at random with regard to an illegal power connection. They were taken to the court after their arrest and from the court to Ikoyi prison. Despite showing them his NYSC ID card, he's still being held in prison. NYSC officials have also reportedly been to the prison to bail him out all to no avail. Read Melo's account of the incident below.
