Canadian based Nigerian filmmaker Kathryn Fasegha’s new film ‘2 Weeks in Lagos’ features a stellar round-up of Nollywood heavyweights, stars and starlets; Beverly Naya, Mawuli Gavor, Jide Kosoko, Joke Silva, Toyin Abraham, Shaffy Bello, Tina Mba, Okey Uzoeshi, Deyemi Okanlawon, Efe Irele Cassandra Nwadiuto and others. The faith-based film is set for release in 2019. It will be the first Nigerian based film for the award winning Canadian based director whose previous film ‘Treacherous Heart’ was a critical and commercial success in Canada. ‘2 Weeks in Lagos which the director describes as an unconventional love story, revolves around a couple who meet and fall in love in the pulsating city of Lagos. Their love for each other and deep faith plays out in the narrative for the movie. It is set for release in 2019.
