The heavy rainfall that has been falling in the past 10 days in Lagos and Ogun states claimed two lives yesterday as a newly-married teenager and a gatekeeper were killed in the states.
While the teenager, 16-year-old Faisa, was killed in the Agidingbi, Ikeja area of Lagos State, the gatekeeper, 27-year-old Joshua Moses, was electrocuted on the River Valley Estate, in the Ojodu Berger area of Ogun State.
Mudslide caused by incessant rain killed Faisa who relocated to Lagos from Goza in Borno state with her husband, Muhammed.
