Delectable Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has virtually been off from TV screen and social media. Ini who was appointed as the ambassador for Acts and culture of Akwa-ibom state, has just revealed her reasons for been absent from social media.

According to the beautiful actress, she has been occupied with her new political duties. She wrote this on her IG page,

‘Hiya lovelies…been a while;well,been working on harnessing the tourism potentials of my state…and am super excited and grateful to God for the insight, and to my Governor for the opportunity to serve…and super proud to announce that, this December,drum rolls for the maiden edition of “ibomfest” .the Akwaibom festival.

A parade and exhibition of arts,crafts,cuisine,fashion,culture and a celebration of our heritage. By the mercies of God, we are making history..it’s going to be an interesting ride.updates soonest..bless ya’
